i just need a place to rant.

bear with it eh?

lifes been pretty neat these days.

living an OL life and trying to be a teenager at the same time.

at times, its really difficult cause you really want to play but you really cant uh?!

work

but the company's been really nice to me.

with all the leaves and mc's im taking. usually,in other company, its time to say byebye already, but no, their tolerance level is super high. which is why, im putting so much more pressure on myself. one small mistake and i really beat myself real up.

only my really good friends know ive actually broke down a couple of times at work. seriously, i dont know why i reacted that way. but trust me, its really demoralizing when you do wrong stuffs at work ok?

its seriously freakin' fuckedup. no words can describe uhh.

for that whole week, i questioned myself.

am i suitable for this job?

should i even start a full-time job this quickly?

am i even capable enough or not!!

its very frustrating. ive even talked to all my bosses regarding this issue and they've been really nice. its like now, im obligated to do an even better job.

i have to tahantahantahan. i have to get my morale up and going. i have to be how i used to be!

new interns have also been in my company for about 3 weeks now.

initially, they were like a super quiet shyshy bunch but omg, they've been a hella fun:)

best thing is, ive got another direct freshie that i know. wonmehmeh!! HAHAH.

with him around, i actually got a full YEAR update on how 0907 has been doing.

imagine you're babies growing up? sooo nice right! HAHA.

relationships

besides work, my relationships with the people around me are getting a little better.

ive learnt to suck things up and not be so jealous anymore. changing my mentally and not thinking too much actually helps uh.

my close guy friends are all in army for about a week now.

without them, the frequent meetups become not so frequent anymore:( but for some reason, whenever we go out for dinner for the past week, we still talk and think about them. sometimes, if we're lucky,they'll call:)

good to hear updates from them ehh!

so actually, thats just a quick update on my current life uh.

a new url marks a new beginning.

ended poly life unofficially 2 months ago and frankly speaking, life isnt going in the direction that i want it to.

got offered a job at my intern company during my internship and ive been doing the same thing for the past 5 months already.

anyone who knows me, would know my fire for a job only last for a maximum of 6 months. everyone is betting on me leaving this job before my 6th month and im kindda on the verge of quitting anytime soon.

im trying very hard to live with this job but to tell you the truth, i aint very close with my colleagues. the 5 minute talk's with them is good enough for me already. i dont really need to 'bond' with them cause i dont really see the need to be bonded with them. the people in there are very 'FOR THEMSELVES' and they dont give a shit to what you're doing uh. and maybe its because of that, i tend to distant myself away from them. not going to gatherings, not hanging out and even not lunching with them.

im not being difficult or what but to me, i forge friendships for a reason and with people i want to and need to. well, maybe i am being difficult afterall.

enough talking about work, upon unofficially graduated from poly, ive been on a couple of trips, overseas:)

genting,taiwan and pulau ubin.

good times.

on the another hand, ive never been good with dealing with relationships.

family friends, im not very confident with my relationships with them.

talking about stuffs about them is also very sensitive to me and but somehow ive found some people i trust to talk things about. people who are willing to be my listening ears and give me advise. the people i think are worth being friends with. pouring everything out to them do make things slightly less heavy on my side.

for some reason, i feel that time plays a big part in my life.

'theres a time for everything.' thats what people would say.

but they just don't realize i don't have time for everything. its different.

having worked in the same environment for the past 2 months is crazy. its becoming more and more mundane.

the thought of me, in the same environment for the next few years, is depressing.

i'd wonder who i'll makan with.

i'd wonder who i'll talk to when i have trouble at work.

i'd wonder if i'll breakdown at work like i did a couple of times.

i'd wonder whether i'd make mistakes at work without being told.

loads of i'd wonder.

after I've accepted the position, i realize i don't have time for myself.

its just five-half day work every other day.

im just a young kid. i wanna have fun. i dont wanna settle so soon.

sucks having to grow up.

i also realize, whenever i talk university education with my parents, i'd get bloody frustrated.

very annoyed. prolly cause i get mad at myself for not being able to make into local uni and for having no directions.

i haven't got a clue what i wanna major in.

i hate IT, SCIENCE, BUSINESS, ENGINEERING. tell me what's left then! ARTS?

ive thought about social sciences. psychology was a path i wanted to take in secondary school, but again, tons of reading and my reading mood fluctuates. its crazy.

chinese new year is 2 days away.

seriously, i havent gotten into the festive mood.

i havent gone to chinatown, river angbao, nothing!

tons of happenings and happened the past few weeks.

ive officially started attachment at hp.

never would i thought id be offered a permanent position to work at hp.

this could be my first step into the working path.

having to decide to stop studying and start working was something i thought long and hard.

imagine, losing the momentum to study, take exams.

it took me 1 month to take up the offer.

there were many different factors i had to consider.

if i dont accept, i'll have to go job hunting on my own and being left with no directions. it was tough. seriously, i doubt myself once, twice and maybe thrice. i even went to uni websites to consider probable courses which i could get in. local uni was a big nono cause my grades werent good enough. ive even considered taking a new diploma in NAFA or SIM. but then, money came in mind. i didnt want to be in debts before even working. dumb!.

owells, final decisions, ive accepted the job. prolly continue working for 1-2 years, save money and go back to pursuing a degree.

celebrating christmas and new year with my friends.

it was a first for me. past years, i was at home, sitting in front of my com/tele, watchin the countdown on tele. it was different this year:) we headed out to orchard for christmas and henry's for new year. memorable:)

my mood. its been fluctuating like mad.

sometimes id be happy happy, all smiley and the next, it'll be crazily emo-shit.

some friends around me know exactly what going on in my life and its not very glamorous to say it here. sometimes, its good to have stuffs kept from public.

all in all, i think im dumb to even react that way.

second time to China this year.

spending time with almost strangers for a month was no foreign thing to me.

hainan was worse eh. i knew no one. LOL.

i really loved the trip despite the very unnecessary details of the two accidents i've encountered.

i miss the toliet! the freakishly hot water and squat toilet!! LOL.

i spent money like mad there luhh only cause stuffs there were dead cheap.

till now, i can't get use to the currency:(

grew really close with the almost-strangers in the trip.

which is a good thing i think?

fyp's almost ending soon and my project is so going no where.

up till now, we are still changing the GUI.

thank God for the super impromptu presentation we had, otherwise i'd think the mid-terms would be so screwed.

so, we met up with trina and headed to "THE ROYAL COPENHAGEN" for high tea.

suppose to be the 5 of us including eugene and bernard but these 2 guys had bad hair day, which ended up not joining us for high tea.

food was pretty awesome for their high tea.

its like gosh-ly atas.

cakes and scones and quiche were pretty awesome but the ambiance was a little off.

owells, met up with focker and gong dai after our high tea.

went jalan jalan cause trina headed home and we didnt know what to do.

movie timings werent very great also.

debating where to makan for dinner was pretty hilarious.

we couldnt decide on what to makan so we roamed around like idiots.

after like 45 minutes of pure aimless walking, headed down to waraku.

had a couple of inside jokes also.

it was funny yet with a few awkward pauses. LOL!

went to kino after dinner and gosh, thats like a freakin huge bookstore!

i didnt even know it exist luhh!

walked till the shop closed.

I've got one day left to the end of my final final final holidays of my poly life.

sounds pathetic eh, truth is, I've had a week and yet, i went to pack it with work.

stamina ain't that great.

after 3 days of consecutive working, i got sick.

a damn horrible flu which made me use boxes of tissues.

and i went to work the following day and the following day.

the brand i worked for was horribly boring.

imagine, 8 hours of work, standing and pacing up and down my small counter.

i've even got the time to count how many steps my counter took up.

a mere 30 footsteps. circling round my counter, boring!

tomorrow concludes my last day of work.

seriously, damn tiring.

ive never had sucha tiring sales job.

tiring= boring.

monday is the start of a 3 month grueling project.

something i am actually looking forward to eh.

a brand new start, a brand new semester.

hopefully some new friends too:)

past few weeks was packed with exams.

though it was two papers, one indirectly killed me.

i seriously hope i wouldnt have to retake that freakin' module and graduate as planned.

my first official weekend without work.

FYI, i resigned.

never knew staying home would be such a bore.

shouldn't have resigned.

on the other hand, headed to the familiar tampines for lunch/dinner.

manpuku for lunch and hong kong cafe for desert.

the osmathus jelly was interesting.

with the little bits of flower and all, the flavor literally stays in your mouth with the subtle hinge of flower scent which leaves your mouth refreshed:)

i tried to describe it as professionally as i can, but my english is kinda limited. aiya, its nice la!

it was payday.

bought a book which was on 30% discount.

thought it'll be healthy to read instead of hogging on the computer for hours.

so, mom was sick.

though i failed my certification on this day, got drenched by a freakin' bus, was damn sick, smashed cake on my face, and no one to ask me out, im kindda glad some remembered:)

flu cough and major certification exam.

my brain is seriously kosong.

i practically anyhow guess the answers in the practice quiz and i think i'll fail.

im not being pessimistic or what.

but being sick and having an exam aint a good combination you know?

ive got to memorise fucking 200 questions and see some simulation videos.

i THINK ive managed to memorise 100? but im not like a 100 percent sure.

i think im just gonna take out the key points and memorise it asap.

if i pass this, it'll be my first birthday present to myself:)

on the other hand, ive got no plans on my birthday.

unlike previous years, ive got no bbq's this year.

i've got no mood to plan and if i have to get people to realize its my birthday,

since i was home early, i decided to do something alittle productive.

bake.

bought like choco chips, walnuts, flour, eggs, sugar and even the container i feel in love with.

this time, i think i spiced things up a little.

i mixed melted chocochips into the batter.

hoping it'll have the choco-ly taste.

topping it off with chocochips and walnut for the extra texture:)

i was at phoon huat thinking what nuts to put.

and walnut came to mind:)

was in a state of confusion yesterday night.

couldnt sleep.

all i could do was think.

ask me what i thought about and i'd have to answer i really dont know.

its such a confusing situation till i mixed everything that im feeling into one night.

school friends work money.

it was one horrible night.

and i was suppose to go out with my friends today.

but my mood went totally low.

ive got a bad feeling about it.

ok, it sounds depressing but it's true.

after this semester ends, there won't be time for any meetup:(

believe it or not, i didnt expect this outing to be possible at all!

i'd expect people to not turn up and have second thoughts about it and in the end, everything will go haywire. but owells, it went great.

though it ain't full attendance, we had fun:)

KITE FLYING IS SCARRYY AND TEDIOUS.

the sound of the string makes me go speechless.

the ahgong and ahma there was soo cute. we had to shift them to another place cause we didnt want them to get paint on them, but they didnt speak chinese. they spoke hainanese. so, we spoke like baby-language in order for them to understand wad we wanted to say. damn hilarious!

we taught them english and my class was aweesommme.

i was paired together with shuling, shidah and jiaming.

the class was soooo INTO english.

though i kept laughing cause hearing them pronoucing english was abit hard to get use to, it was damn good experience. they realllly want to learn which is not what we expect in spore kids these days. their innocence is hard to describe in words. you just have to be there to see it!

past few days have been shopping shopping and shopping.
all with different people:)

headed out to town with trina, andrew and qifeng on Wednesday.
bought my new year clothes and i must say, this year's dressing is abit out of my league but its still nice. qf bought his vans shoes and it looks nice. jalan around town for a bit and then 85 for dinner. bak chor mee is loves man. damn freakin' nice!

the next day, headed out with vint cause he wanted to buy his new year stuffs and i needa get my shoes. headed to tampines to get my shoes first. makan my craved prata and trained down to bugis. he got his berms jeans and shoes. whereas i got my shoes and jeans. he spend money like water man. i think he spulrged like 300+ on new year stuffs le. crazy!!

headed to secondary schol with weishan lipping and edward on friday.
omg, walking into school made me remember so many things la!
i miss secondary school lah.
talked to some teachers and saw some familiar faces.
miss sitting in hall, dreading for the concert to end and blah.
left quite early since we saw what we wanted to see already.

met up with mama for marketing.
and omg, we bought like 8 big big big bags of groceries.
freakin' heavy la. and theres like only 2 of us?
cabbed home.

new year's eve was stay home day.
did some last minute stuffs and prepared for new year.
reunion dinner was at a place in katong.
sin hoi san or something like that.
good food but it took them damn damn freakin' long to serve the dishes.
and as you know, my patience tolerance is like ZERO?

gosh! its horrible.
worse of all, i was the one who did it.

owells, school these few days has been kind great.
theres like this super awkward feeling when i go to a combine class.
no idea why but its just a recent feeling.

slightly better day.
re-formatted my laptop for the very first time and though all data's are gone, its finally a working computer and not a redundant one.
on the downside, i can't seem to download vb08 onto it.
SHIT!
headed to school and did some codings.
khai and hafiz were there.
fuji came down from his clubroom and explained the third year specializations to me.
i do have a better understanding of all choices and a clearer mind of where to go now.
changed the GUI of my part and i just have to do somesome coding on it.
let's pray i'll get it completed by tomorrow.
provided,i can get the effing frustrating vb08 on my computer.

someone's birthday is on sunday and im looking forward to it:)

breakdown

after listening to the lecture on choosing our 3rd year specialization, i kind of woke up.
seeing how everyone had their direction made me feel damn frustrated.
i have no idea on what i want and whether I'm capable of getting a diploma.

start of night class was also ok.
after talking about the sacp project, i felt super stupid.
i had no idea how the database was going to work and seriously time is running out.
with the laptop crashed and the desktop not able to download visual basic, it's stressing me out.
5 attempts to download visual basic and i cannot get the program installed.

i seriously don't know what else to do except for heading to school tomorrow and pray there are empty labs for me to use.

i broke down for so many reasons i can't explain myself really.
i felt no sense of direction.
i felt i let my group down.
i felt damn stupid for being such a slow learner.
i felt like a burden to everyone.

i took double buses home cause i needed more time to calm down.
i needed to make sure i was in a right state of mind before heading home and pretending everything was alright.
the extra 15 minutes was vital for me to think things on the positive side like i always do but i guess this time, even that extra 15 minutes didn't help much. got onto the second bus and i thought about it all over again.

coming home, i sat on my desktop hoping the installation would work so that i can continue with my programming but to no avail.
i really need to calm down and not panic. i kept telling myself not to cry.
'don't spoil my image' just like what i would normally say but today, i just can't.
controlling just ain't gonna help this time.

i have until next Wednesday to choose my specialization and i really don't know how to choose.
seeing those people in the night class choosing their specialization, i really felt damn lost.
its like I'm not from the same league as them.

pouring all these out made me feel better.much better in fact.
after the strike of 1am, im gonna go back to being the normal/usual person.
forget everything that happened today and not to breakdown again.
i swear.

but i do have like 10% i can pass all?

tests were kinda tricky.
careless mistakes were inevitable.

3rd day of SITEX09.
Toshiba laptops ain't that easy to sell but i think I've managed to sell well.
commission is low like shit but o wells, better than no money la.
because of the money, i've put my major tests at tremendous risks.

4 major tests next week and I've practically only studied on the bus.

and omg, my laptop crashed and i cant start on my SACP coding.
madly rushing for RAD's test and DI.
Software engineering is like a totally goner.
SHIT SHIT SHIT.

im seriously in a state of panic.
seeing the crazy RAD answers, made me realize i kinda lost touch with school stuffs.
and i mean, i only missed school for 1 DAY!

gonna chiong RAD and pray the decision to work doesn't affect my grades.
on the bright side, working has been fun.
people there are like super friendly.
and OMG, can u believe it? JOHNSON is REALLY SINGAPORE POLY's TRIPLE E president.

oh ya, new moon last night with sam was great.
my first late night movie with her.
